Operation Sindoor Only Paused, Will Resume if Required: Rajnath Singh

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh told the Lok Sabha that Operation Sindoor, launched after the Pahalgam terror attack, is only “paused” and will resume if Pakistan attempts fresh misadventures. Singh asserted that the operation achieved all politico-military objectives, sending a clear message that “decisive action has replaced dossiers.” He emphasized that the aim was to eliminate terror bases, not start a war. Singh dismissed claims of foreign pressure, stating Pakistan requested a halt after suffering heavy losses.
