The Rajya Sabha failed to conduct business for the sixth consecutive day as Opposition MPs protested over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar. Fourteen out of 26 notices under Rule 267 demanded a debate on the SIR, but Deputy Chairman Harivansh rejected them, leading to repeated adjournments throughout the day. MPs raised slogans, some entering the Well of the House, forcing adjournment. Meanwhile, the Lok Sabha debate on Operation Sindoor was delayed amid similar demands for assurance on SIR discussion.
