Three ‘Hardcore’ Terrorists Killed in Srinagar Operation

Security forces neutralized three “hardcore” terrorists during Operation Mahadev in Lidwas, Srinagar, on Monday. The encounter took place in the upper Dachigam forest area, a strategic zone connecting Pahalgam and Ganderbal. Officials recovered an AK-47, a U.S.-made carbine, 17 rifle grenades, and other materials from the site. Their suspected role in the April 22 Pahalgam attack, which killed 26 civilians, is under investigation. The prolonged operation is ongoing as identification of the slain terrorists continues.
